Another future jobless human being.

The possibilities of jobs that I could have in the future are uncertain to me, not only because I'd like to do a lot of things but also because I want to dedicate my life making art. That's a hot risk here in Chile, and since am studying cinematography, I want to work on audiovisual projects. One of the reasons I decided to study this was because I met a film set when I was finishing high school and realized that my dream job is working together with different people creating a piece of whatever we want to do. I felt comfortable with that kind of working enviroment, because it's collective and cooperative, but also a creative process. Anyone who has been on a film shooting knows that sensation: it's fucking exhausting and intense, but it's also really satisfying and meaningful (sadly, bad experiences also exist). 

Another thing I like about working on cinema is the variety of locations where you can shoot, which means that you can move to a lot of places (or not, I really like filming in my house too!). I highly prefer outdoor jobs, I can't imagine myself sitting on a desk and watching a screen unless I'm editing a movie. So, my preference is working on set or outside, moving around and searching images, I don't want an office job or something sedentary, but I do realize that I have to work a lot on my computer too. I want to work on film shootings and will have to find different audiovisual projects, but I also want to dedicate time to my personal projects: there are some documentary investigations and fictional ideas that I want to work for possible future movies, while I also experiment daily searching, creating and filming images that caught my attention. This is an attitude towards life that I've adopted recently: I think that a movie can be created observing your surroundings and gifting an image to your observations. We could say I film my daily life as an habit, however the images don't talk about me or my life, but about the world where I live. 

So yeah I'm going to live at the expense of funds for audiovisual or cultural projects (only if I have good projects). I could cook some vegan food and sell it, I really like cooking (but don't like selling). I hope my friends will offer me jobs in the magnificent and beautiful projects they will do in the future!
